Terms of use

These terms apply when you use CADsnip. Please read them before relying on anything you make with it. Last updated: 3 November 2026.

Provided as is

CADsnip is free and is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, free of errors or fit for any particular purpose.

Check your own work

You are responsible for checking your own work. Markups, dimensions, levels, stamps and other marks are sketches: they are not measured, verified or to scale unless you have made sure they are. Check everything against the source drawings and your own professional judgement before you rely on it or issue it.

No liability for decisions based on markups

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of CADsnip, including from any decision or work based on a markup. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your drawings

Your drawings and markups remain yours and stay on your device, as the Privacy page explains. Make sure you are allowed to use and share what you mark up.

Changes

We may change CADsnip or these terms, or stop offering it, at any time. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
